Cape Cod Bay Challenge just got more challenging!

Mike and I decided today to make things a little easier and safer for the support boats especially considering last years fiasco with the heavy fog. Last year we had our support boat coming in to meet us but he couldn’t get near the beach because the visibility was down to about 100 ft. The area in front of the beach out to about a mile offshore is littered with house sized boulders left from the last ice age. Not a good place for a big boat in zero visibilty. We decided to launch from Plymouth Harbor instead of Long Beach this year to avoid any possibility of a repeat. This will add another two miles to our paddle. What the heck…30 miles sounds better anyway.

Keep training everyone!
